PillPal is used by people in their seventies and eighties, often with tremor, cataracts, arthritis or macular degeneration, and by family members reading it at speed. Accessibility is not a compliance exercise here — a reminder that cannot be read is a reminder that did not happen.

We have not been audited by anyone. Nothing on this page has been verified by an external accessibility auditor, and we do not publish a VPAT. What follows is what we have tested ourselves. We would rather say that plainly than claim a conformance level we have not earned.

Per platform, because they are not the same

The web app is the surface we have tested. The iOS and Android builds wrap the same screens but have their own text-scaling and screen-reader behaviour, and we have not assessed them. Saying "PillPal is accessible" without that split would be a claim about software we have not checked.

Where it is known to fail

Some modals do not return keyboard focus to the control that opened them.
A few settings rows carry a consequence line that a screen reader announces separately from its label, so the two can be heard out of order.
The month calendar is hard to operate by keyboard alone.
